Why you should avoid Reddit

Reddit is a platform known globally. It is known for it’s ablilty to ‘dive into anything’. That means you can find your place, on Reddit. But as it turned out in my situation, it isn’t the best place after all.

I have been a Reddit Customer since 2020. I joined in a bid to find entertainment during the pandemic. It was fun! Fast-forward to 2022, many facts of Reddit’s corruption have been publicly shamed, they have hired more administrators to make it a better place. I have ran several music subs, including being a moderator of /r/music, the most musical subreddit on the platform. After 2 days of doing and posting nothing, I wake up to recieve this message:

Banned for life, for nothing. Thankyou!

Yea.. Let me explain, if you did not understand that photo. I have posted absolutely nothing during the past 2 days, and I apparently have violated Content Policy. It just so turns out to occur after I have bought a $49.99 for a year of Reddit Premium! I have tried to appeal the ban, saying I never violated their CP and stated the fact that the only subreddit I moderate is a kids subreddit. As of writing this post, they have rejected my appeal and the Reddit Legal Team is considering terminating my account.

So then, that is my story of how I’m telling users to avoid Reddit. Once you pay, you get stabbed in the back. As always, don’t forget to follow me if you find my posts interesting, so that you can get to know when I publish. Goodbye for now!
